All the block work is done, ready to start engine assembly. Think I will run last years heads for the first race. Have some new work on the block this year, try it with olkd heads first then make a new set and see what happens with them! Ran into snag on chassis yesterday so hoping to make some progress on it today, It will be ready by Monday and Hope Cam gets in so can finish up engine on Tuesday! First race is 8 short days away, and right now I have a bare chassis on my back porch! Had a nice chat with Tim Iskenderian yesterday from Small Engine Cams. My new bone s about ready and I am eggcited. More bump and more thump. Started porting on the block last night, doing a whole lot more to this engine than the last one and cannot wait to get it on the track!

David & Shannon came to visit this weekend. Larry came over Saturday night as well and we all worked on the Rooster Cruiser. DId not do a whole lot more than get it stripped all the way down and make a Plan. Sunday I took David to see where I work, racers always love that place, it is a metal working playground! Made a couple spacers for the front end, pretty sure all the parts are ready for the chassis now, just have to bolt it back together. Only 2 weeks to go to IWN and yup, I got no engi... Finally a night off doing nothing but Skyping with the mower racers. Trying to talk Howie into getting Facebook, what a dinosaur, geeze. Got not just our normal blonde, but a special treat, a visiting Blonde from the north! Have not checked my ron mail today, or done much of anything really. We got the Canadians on and the Texans and Michi...wat do you call Michigonians? Ohh Michiganders? And even a Pencil Tucker....woo hooo. Wow with all the hours at my job, and trying to get mowers ready for the up and coming Missouri Indoor Winter Nationals next month, and add to that I have been fighting sinuses for a few weeks, I am wiped out! Came home this morning, took Mr. Cap Head off to school, went to Tinas to take her some stuff and I decided to relax and watch an episode of House with her. Next thing it is 5 minutes after I am supposed to be at work and I am barely awake. YAWN!! I think I am going to retire next month! Continue reading ...

We always say;"It's that time of year", and it always is "that time of year" for something. Right now is what I call that money time of year. Just came off the holidays when you spent a bunch of money on a bunch of stuff and you've been doing that winter rebuild on your racers so that fund is getting down. Wow, everyone has been on my butt about the web site so I finally decided to trade some of that excessive sleep I get in for some computer time! What do you think?
